Elliot Villeneuve Durham Death, Obituary:- Elliot Villeneuve, a dedicated paramedic with CUPE 1764 Durham Region Paramedics, has passed away, leaving a profound impact on the communities he served and the colleagues who worked alongside him.

Villeneuve’s commitment to saving lives and supporting others defined both his professional and personal life. Originally from Naperville, Illinois, Villeneuve pursued his passion for healthcare early on.

He attended Waubonsie Valley High School before continuing his studies in pre-medical sciences at Iowa State University. His dedication to patient care led him to Loyalist College, where he completed his Paramedicine (Primary Care) program, laying the foundation for a career devoted to helping others.

Villeneuve began his emergency services career as a firefighter and paramedic with the Oswego Fire Department, serving from December 2020 to March 2021. In May 2024, he joined Durham Region Paramedics, where his professionalism, compassion, and tireless work ethic quickly made him a valued member of the team.

Colleagues remember him as someone who approached every emergency with calm determination and a genuine desire to make a difference. Beyond his work, Villeneuve was known for his kind and down-to-earth nature, touching the lives of friends, family, and strangers alike.
